Slugs and Slimy Catterpillars

While I was cutting wood today, after I sliced the peice I was cutting A big green slimy catterpillar pops out...I screamed and jumped away, although you can't blame me, It was WAY fatter than my thumb and WAY longer than an inch. It looked like this.

If you can't see it that well here is a better picture.

As it turned out it had ophspring also.

After consulting with Mom what to do with them I picked up the axe and chopped them to peices.

MWAHAHA!

I can only wonder how many more of them there are in our woodpile.
